PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform test cuts and machine demonstrations for aerospace type parts both structural and engine components.
  • Provide applications engineering support to sales force by visiting customer facilities and assisting with potential machine and turnkey proposals.
  • Setup, generate NC program, build tooling, prove-out, and complete test cut requests from sales inquiries leading to machine orders.
  • Perform customer startup training and transfer of technical knowledge on newly sold equipment at the customer’s facility.
  • Teach and conduct technical transfer classes specifically focused on aerospace type components and application of high-speed machining techniques.
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field, or 5 years or more related experience.
  • 3 + years of experience with aerospace engine type component manufacturing.
  • 3+ years of experience with setup, programming, and operations of multi-axis (3, 4 & 5 axis) machining centers.
  • Ability to interface with potential customers and present a professional image.
  • Technical aptitude/knowledge and logical troubleshooting skills.
  • Rational decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is required.
  • Willingness to travel, mostly short duration, 25 to 40%.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Mount, align, and secure die sections in machine; connect cooling hoses and adjust die cooling system; monitor and adjust machine parameters such as aluminum feed rate and timing cycles; cycle machine to check adjustments and ensure proper closing of die sections.
  • Perform related process tasks such as maintaining lubricant levels in dies and on plunger to achieve clean mold releases: clear knock-out pins and make routine machine adjustments as needed.
  • Operate machine to make trial shots; note quality issues such as casting dimensions, fill, and surface defects; make appropriate machine adjustments to correct noted defects.
  • Diagnose machine troubles and make appropriate adjustments; clear knock-out pins; and polish die surfaces to achieve clean mold releases.   
  • Work from part drawings, specifications, production schedules, and written instructions.
  • Use precise measuring devices such as scales, calipers, and micrometers to determine machine setup accuracy.
  • Operate crane to perform die changes and ingot loading.
  • Perform die casting Production Operator jobs as necessary.
  • Train co-workers to operate die casting equipment including the furnace, die casting machine, trimming die, and shot blaster; demonstrate startup/shutdown procedures; demonstrate how and why machine adjustments are made to correct process defects such as short-fill and surface blemishes; demonstrate how to perform machine troubleshooting tasks using basic hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.  Train co-workers on how to adjust spray heads.
  • Train co-workers to perform minor to moderate machine repairs and preventive maintenance tasks such as: change worn or damaged hydraulic hoses, clean vacuum pumps, and change oil filters; advise Team Lead or Supervisor of status of machine repairs.   
  • Communicate all employee concerns, machine issues, and any other irregularities to appropriate personnel.
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • HS diploma or equivalent required to perform the job successfully.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in manufacturing environment, preferably fast-pasted automotive.

  • The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design of electrical control circuits incorporated into automation equipment. These options are widely varied in design and function, typically new and unique customer defined functions.
  • Design electrical control circuits using AutoCad 2D to support custom options developed. Review the functional requirements of the automated system and develop/design the control system for the option based on the requirements.

  • Update current automation control designs to support field modifications and updates to existing machining centers.
 
REQUIREMENTS

  • Troubleshoot and repair 480V 3-phasse motor control systems.

  • Assist employees with verification and startups on all production orders within the cell

MBS is hiring a Welder Fabricator in Cincinnati, OH. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity. 
 
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform visual quality checks and takes appropriate action to correct defects
  • Perform complex dimensional layouts to complete products without fixtures
  • Complete complex weldments without guidance or supervision
  • Prepare materials for welding, cuts, grinds, and cleans metal
  • Produce work daily that is consistently accurate
  • Provide feedback to supervisor on problems with the welding process
  • Must generate quality welds
  • Extensive blueprint reading and weld symbol understanding
  • Capability to MIG weld
  • Capability to TIG weld
  • Must be able to Spray Arc
  • Capability to weld all types of materials
  • Must be able to assist in fixture design on specific products
  • Ability to perform complex dimensional calculations
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve fit up issues
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve welding machine issues
  • Ability to set up welding machines to different types of materials
  • Must create quality welds, identify poor welds, and know how to repair
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in welding fabrication and all necessary certification in
  • welding, metals fabrication, machining
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and a high degree of precision in executing assigned tasks
  • Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials
  • Must be able to lift 40- 80 lbs safely
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and/or 2nd-shift as needed to meet deadlines

Kable Staffing is hiring Mig Welder for a GREAT customer of ours in Georgetown, KY.  This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
 
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct MIG welding on metal components according to project specifications and industry standards
  • Ensure welds meet or exceed established criteria for strength and precision
  • Accurately and efficiently assemble metal components based on project requirements
  • Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications, dimensions, and welding requirements
  • Inspect metal parts pre-assembly to identify and rectify defects or imperfections
  • Uphold a commitment to delivering top-notch welds and finished products. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal functionality and longevity
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder in a manufacturing or construction setting
  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder, with expertise in welding various metals
  • Ability to consistently produce high-quality welds with precision
  • Keen attention to detail with a dedication to producing accurate and flawless welds
